How to make Modaks from chocolate compounds?
Ingredients:
- Chocolate Compounds(dark,milk, or white).
- Optional fillings: almonds, walnuts, pistachios, dried cranberries, cherries, blueberries, cinnamon, cardamom, chili powder, chocolate ganache, chocolate mousse, salted caramel, toffee, etc.
- Modak Mouldsor Modak Sacha
- Chocolate Flavour (optional)
- Chocolate Colour (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the chocolate filling:
- Melt the chocolate compounds in a microwave or double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- If desired, add your chosen filling ingredients to the melted chocolate and mix well.
2. Shape the modak:
- Grease the modak molds with a small amount of melted chocolate.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the moulds, filling them to the top.
- Tap the mould gently on plain surface to remove air bubbles.
3. Refrigerate:
- Place the filled modak moulds in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set.
4. Serve:
- Carefully remove the modak from the moulds and serve bhog in our Modak Boxes.
